How Much She Spent
My Mother's Monetary Losses

My mother was taken for a grand total of $271,767.67. She made the payments in the forms of cash, checks, credit cards, and a home improvement loan. She was not even aware of having spent the smaller amounts by credit card. I believe they swiped her credit card without her knowledge during her dance lessons. I also found she had applied for a $100,000 mortgage on her house, but I was able to cancel it before it closed.

My mother had no idea what she was spending, that she had spent that much money, and for what she had spent it. Note the frequency in which she spent the amounts of money. Multiple payments were often made on the same day. Michael Pasquarelli and David Andrews had her sign a contract for every amount.

Here is the breakdown:

(There were no March expenditures due to multiple hospitalizations and rehabilitation that kept her away from the studio.)

*My mother took out the cash advance after Michael Pasquarelli asked her for more money after he had been ordered by the court not to collect any more funds from anyone. The judge had allowed The Dance Place to reopen after it had been shut down, but only to teach lessons already paid for, not to take any new students, and not to collect any more money. His collection of the $4,000.00 from my mother was violation of this order and led to his arrest that night.

My mother was not thinking clearly at this time, but she told me that Pasquarelli had threatened her and told her that it was all my fault that The Dance Place had been shut down, and that if she gave him more money, he would not hurt her or me. I was warned to "watch my back" by an inside source.

Pasquarelli also used me as his excuse for his arrest and told my mother she owed it to him to pay his bail, which was $100,000.00. She applied for a $100,000.00 mortgage on her free and clear house which is all it was worth, but I was able to cancel it before it closed. She was not aware that one does not pay the entire bail amount, but 10%, or $10,000.00. Then again, she wasn't aware of much of anything at that point.

Pasquarelli and Andrews often used threats and other emotional and mental abuse to coerce my mother into giving them money, including threats against me, and even her cats!
